The presentation conference of the new Neapolitan language course at the Institut Francais in Napoli.

On Monday October 3rd 2022, at 6PM, the presentation conference of the new Neapolitan language course will be held at the media library of the Institut Francais in Napoli.

The institutional greetings of the new Consul General of France in Napoli, Mme Lise Moutoumalaya will open the conference and will continue with the interventions of professor of Linguistics at Federico II of Napoli as well as member of the Accademia della Crusca Nicola De Blasi, former Councilor for Culture of the Municipality of Napoli Nino Daniele, professor and co-founder of the LUV (free Vesuvian University) and former Mayor of San Giorgio a Cremano, Aldo Vella, teacher of Italian and history and teacher of Neapolitan at the UNITRE of Napoli Ermete Ferraro, the conference will be closed by Davide Brandi, creator and tutor of the course, president of the Lazzari Association and vice president of the Alliance Europèenne des Langues Régionales.

The news is that this new project promoted by the Ass. Lazzari, is promoted by the Council of Europe in Strasbourg and reported to the European Commission in Brussels, as part of the events scheduled for the “European Day of Languages” (September 26th ) as also published on the institutional website.

The Neapolitan language therefore enters among thousands of events promoted in every corner of Europe (and the world) where initiatives related to English dominate everywhere. This is also a small step to protect the culture of the territory, neglected by local and national institutions but admired by the world. These will be the themes of the conference in addition to the presentation of the didactic program.

Access to the conference is free (with presentation of an identity document) but upon reservation at the Institut Francais (tel .: 081 761 62 62, or 331 89 23 006).
