NAPLES – A new and tangible symbol of territorial redemption and social cohesion is coming to life in Naples.

On Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, (Italian Time Zone) the inauguration ceremony will take place for the property confiscated from organized crime, located at Via Roma verso Scampia no. 110 ,Naples, Italy.

The initiative—significantly titled La Forza del Bene (The power of good) — represents a moment of immense symbolic and institutional significance. The event will shine a spotlight on a virtuous journey of transformation: a space reclaimed from illegality is being repurposed as a permanent hub for legality, culture, and active civic participation.

Officially returned to the community for social and civic purposes, this space aims to serve as a new beacon of inclusion and urban regeneration.

The project is an integral part of the “Tessitori di Bene” initiative (Project Code 2023-CON-00549), funded by the CON IL SUD Foundation under its 2023 Call for Proposals regarding Assets Confiscated from the Mafia. The initiative is led by the Fondazione Città Nuova ETS, heading a partnership network that includes the L’Orsa Maggiore Social Cooperative, the Chi Rom e Chi No ONLUS Association, and the Jorit Foundation.

The Power of Good.

Once opened, this multi-purpose center will offer activities and services dedicated entirely to young people and families, providing concrete solutions to the needs of the neighborhood. The facility will thus become a symbol of the effectiveness of the synergy among institutions, project partners, and the third sector. Local authorities and representatives of institutional bodies will take part in the ceremony; their presence will be essential to underscore the significance of this milestone and to support the new initiatives that will bring the space to life in the spirit of the common good.
