Today, Naples celebrates Saint Patricia, one of its beloved co-patron saints. According to tradition, the saint arrived in the city after being shipwrecked near Megaride, the site where Castel dell’Ovo now stands. She chose to remain in Naples, gave away her wealth, and dedicated herself to the poor.
