Opening on August 10, 2026 at 6:00 PM with the installation “Quanti e Musicalità” by Nera d’Auto. A week of performances and conviviality until August 16.
On August 10, 2026 at 6:00 PM, NERA – Casa Museo Arte Scienza will open at Via dell’Arte 7 in Roccadaspide, the residence and archive of artist Nera d’Auto.
The inauguration presents for the first time the complete collection from all periods and kicks off a week of encounters, performances, and convivial moments until August 16.
The evening’s opening act will be the installation “Quanti e Musicalità” (Quanta and Musicality), an environment of gold leaf panels, pierced with different signs, symbolizing human interiority similar to the becoming in the universe.
The artist’s voice accompanies the audience’s entrance; after a brief suspension, an evolution generated with artificial intelligence is projected onto the work: forms that move, blend, and compose “Musical Quanta.” The audience is part of the artwork.
At the entrance, each visitor will choose two sheets of “sonic” paper; by rubbing it, each person produces a unique sound, determined by the different holes in the paper. The ensemble of individual musicality composes, for that evening, a collective score: the union of each person with the becoming of the cosmos.
“I have always worked on the idea that man does not look at the universe from outside but is an integral part of it. The holes are our differences, the gold is the light that passes through them. With artificial intelligence, the work gives the idea of a becoming where particles mix; the sound of the audience completes the becoming with its own uniqueness.”

The exhibition will be open for free every day from August 10 to 16, with afternoon hours from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Program
- August 10, 6:00 PM: inauguration and activation of “Quanti e Musicalità,” intervention by Antonella Nigro.
- August 13, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM: “Favola Bianca, nel MA del bosco” (White Fable, in the MA of the woods) – plein air event in the woods adjacent to the Casa Museo. Artists work on tree trunks with white lime and clay, highlighting forms suggested by nature to capture the secrets hidden in this space.
- August 16, 6:30 PM: round table: “Natural Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence.” Presentation of the book “Sentieri Sospesi” (Suspended Paths) by Maria Stella Bosco. Speakers include the author and Dr. Gaetano Sabetta, Professor of Religious Sciences at the Pontifical Urbaniana University, with an in-depth look at the encyclical “Magnifica Umanitas” by Pope Leo XIV.
