Brothers and sisters of the faith — mark it, tattoo it on your soul: August 1st, 2026. The day Naples becomes one giant open-air temple to our beloved SSC Napoli.
The club, together with the City of Naples and the Campania Region, has just unveiled Napoli 100 — the centerpiece celebration of our Centenary. And let me tell you: this isn’t just an event. This is a declaration of love.
It begins at 19:26 — yes, 1926, the year it all started — in Piazza Carità, the very ground where our club was born, where the first headquarters stood. One hundred church bells will ring across the city in unison. A towering Blue Smoke Signal will rise into the sky. The Centenary has begun.
THE BLUE PROCESSION
From Piazza Carità, a grand Processione Azzurra will wind through the heart of Naples — Via Toledo, Via Santa Brigida, Via San Carlo — all the way to Piazza del Plebiscito. One hundred actors, one hundred musicians, one hundred children will bring our story to life: from the myth of Parthenope to the devotion of our people, from the masks of our tradition to the songs that carried Naples across the world.
This is not just football history. This is us.
PIZZA FOR THE PEOPLE
At 20:26 in Piazza Municipio, the Pizza Village del Centenario opens — free entry, free Margherita slices by the thousands, drinks flowing. The club will also donate pizzas to those in need through Banco Alimentare Campania. Giant screens will broadcast everything live. Nobody gets left out.
THE CEREMONY — 20:45, PIAZZA DEL PLEBISCITO
President Aurelio De Laurentiis, city officials, and the legends of our glorious history will take the stage. Through music, images, testimonies, and multimedia, we’ll travel through one hundred years of what Napoli means — not just a team, but a cultural identity recognized across the planet.
And then — the moment that will make every tifoso weep — the legends meet the present squad on stage. Past and future, hand in hand. Maradona’s ghost smiling somewhere above.
THE BLUE NIGHT — FROM 22:30
With a single gesture from the stage, Naples will ignite in blue. Palazzo Reale, Maschio Angioino, Castel dell’Ovo, Castel Sant’Elmo — all bathed in azzurro light. A synchronized fireworks and light show will connect Piazza del Plebiscito to the sea. An original soundtrack will weave together the iconic commentary calls that made us scream, cry, and believe.
Then? A DJ set to dance us into the next hundred years.

Everything is FREE. Registration for Piazza del Plebiscito opens Wednesday, July 29 at 15:00 on TicketOne — first come, first served. Gates open at 18:45 from Piazza Trieste e Trento.
