Napoli – ‘A Madonna d’è Rose International Festival of Popular Culture returns on Sunday May 30 2021.
The Madonna of artists who, with her six arms, protects the devotees of art: painters, sculptors, actors and creatives of all kinds, will be celebrated, as every year, in an artistic parade that will cross the streets of the historic center of Napoli.
The 5th edition of the Madonna d’è Rose Festival will begin at 12.00pm, in Largo Banchi Nuovi, opening the event with the “unveiling of the painting” and the votive song, and then continue with performances of slam poetry, live painting and much more.
The project curated by Marco Aspride and Francesco Ciccio Federico, and in collaboration with Vincenzo Crosio, was conceived 5 years ago with the aim of unhinging the prejudice according to which art is something useless and marginal. In fact, the festival highlights the fundamental task of art, namely to aggregate, symbolically and really, the voice of peoples and peoples.
