In five years, leveraging our strengths and the generous support of European and American brands and close friends, our editorial project has resisted, arousing national and international interest, obtaining good results and a high number of regular readers all over the world, which allows us to survive and improve. Since our goal is to spread the culture and promote the talents of our territory, on the occasion of this release, Mediterranean Cocktail of Art II, the multi-art event to promote artists from the Mediterranean area, will be celebrated in Napoli and Tropea, with a free six-date event to showcase and promote artists. The event will open from April 3 to 6 with a FREE art exhibition at the Piccola Galleria Resistente in Napoli. The Painting section is curated by Piccola Galleria Resistente, and the Photography section is curated by Caffé Fotografici. The exhibition presents Antonio Conte, Marialaura Sanzone and Domenico Salierno on painting; Ljdia Musso, Francesca Paola Barone, Renata Petti on photography; with live evening performances of theater, poetry, music with: Alberto Pagliarulo; E.Versi (NuJazz Poetry band), with Domenico Cipriano (voice poetry); Carmine Cataldo (trumpet) Fabio Lauria (piano, synth); Carla Schember and Rino Soria. On April 8, at the Arca’s Teatro (Napoli) there will be an art exhibition by Maestro Michele De Chiara, the introduction to issue 10 of the magazine Napulitanamente; the delivery of an award to the historian and author Enrico Fagnano, and to the director of Officina Mirabilis Vincenzo Notaro; for their great work of cultural diffusion, respectively in the field of publishing and communication. Actress MariaRosaria Cafiero, “Best Comic Actor” of the 20th edition of the Massimo Troisi Award, will perform with the award-winning monologue written by Pippo Cangiano. The following will be screened: the teaser of an upcoming film entitled ‘O Rraù, written and directed by Mimmo Fontanella, with music by Carmine Padula and the short film El Tango Del Diez written and directed by Tullio Imperatore with music by Neapolitan excellence Alberto Pizzo. A sparkling toast with craft beer from the Kbirr- Napoli brewery. The host of the evening will be Neapolitan actor Andrea Costanza. On April 15, the event will move to Tropea, in the province of Vibo Valentia, at the Tropis Hotel & Wellness Center, where an art exhibition will feature: Ljdia Musso and Marco Messina for photography, Francesco Massara, Vanessa Cariati and Antonio Giannini, Giuseppe Giannini, Antonio Palamara, for sculpture. The precious location is further enriched by permanently hosting, alongside the works of the German (Tropea by adoption) Heike Ruffa, works by important Calabrian painters such as Albino Lorenzo, Giovanni Viafora, Francesco Massara, Pasquale Godano, Giuseppe Ferraro. The evening will continue with the tasting of an all-Calabrian ingredients punch called “Musaba in Terra del Sud”(Musaba in the land of south), made by Madison Cafè Tropea. This will be followed by the presentation of issue 10 of Napulitanamente magazine, the delivery of award to the Tropis Hotel &Wellness Center, in the persons of Domenica Mamone and Francesca Mamone, for the support they always give to culture and to yought. Therefore for promoting the cultural evolution of the territory and transmit tradition while looking to the future. Historian and archaeologist Dario Godano will be also awarded, for the work of cultural dissemination that he does through the initiatives of the Libertas association of Tropea. The short film “Viaggio in Calabria”, a documentary by Marco Perri from Tropea, will be screened. There might be a surprise but cannot spoiler it. The host of the event is the Neapolitan actor Andrea Costanza.
